Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.15-4
Severity: important
Hello,
I am having a problem getting any audio in via the microphone on my
IBM X60s laptop.
Card:
---
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801G (ICH7 Family) High
Definition Audio Controller (rev 02)
---
cat /proc/asound/card0/codec#* | grep Codec
---
Codec: Analog Devices AD1981
Codec: Conexant ID 2bfa
---
Sound in general works fine. I can can also hear what is being spoken
into the microphone in the headphones.
I have checked and fiddled with volume levels for playback and capture.
I have tried adding "options snd-hda-intel model=thinkpad" to my
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base file, but it didn't help.
Hope this helps,
George.
