Package: libapache-mod-auth-kerb
Version: 4.996-5.0-rc6-3
Severity: important
Hello,
libapache-mod-auth-kerb since i.e. 4.996-5.0-rc6-3 does not work on sarge
though installs and compiles fine. That's because
debian/patches/02gssapi.dpatch breaks compatibility with MIT Kerberos
1.3.x
1) So the package should build-depend on libkrb5-dev (>= 1.4.0-1).
-- OR --
2) if you think it's worth the effort, you could fix 02gssapi.dpatch to
restore backwards compatibility with MIT 1.3.x
-- OR --
3) Maybe, new upstream release fixes the problem (#340360) in a proper way.
I haven't checked.
