An alias configuration should be provided for the kernel module virtualbox-ose.ko.

VirtualBox itself requires the module vboxdrv to be loaded in kernel and the device /drv/vboxdrv to be available for full functionality.

The functionality is provided by the package virtualbox-ose-modules-`uname -r` (if available for the currently running kernel.

An alias should be provided in /etc/modprobe.d dir

The bug you mention has been fixed quite some time ago. The module has
an incorrect name. It does not need an alias but the build process had
to be fixed. Anyway, the correct virtualbox packages are in testing and
sid (and on backports.org btw) so there is nothing we can/should do
about this.
