Hi,
I tried to view the attached document with different viewers
but only gpdf failed to open it. The author of the document
did not set a password.
Reader
--------------------------------------------
evince OK
xpdf OK
acroread OK
gpdf --> The PDF document is encrypted and you
didn't enter the correct password
kpdf OK
So I guess this is a problem in gpdf.
Kind regards and thanks for maintaining gpdf
Andreas.

I'm sorry but I have to disappoint you on this - I'm not anymore.
In fact gpdf has been removed from Debian in autumn 2006; it's not
even in any distribution anymore but oldstable (sarge). The version
you tried with must have been a leftover installation from before it's
removal.
It's also dead upstream, even longer -- spring 2005.
Therefore I'm closing this bug (without merit).
KR,
Filip
