Package: pound
Severity: wishlist
Are there any news about upcoming support for IPv6? Is anyone working
on it? If no one is, what would be the best form for patches (a glance
shows that patches would be quite intrusive as Pound seems to make quite a
few assumptions about IPv4)? (I'm not promising anything, just looking
around for now...)
IPv6 in Pound would give us:
* simpler firewall rules: no need to pierce NATs just to let DMZ access
backend servers
* security: no direct connections to backend
* common logging for both old and new clients
