Package: lyx
Version: 1.1.6fix3-2
Severity: normal
I can enter tabular layout with the SGML (LinuxDoc) article class, but
when I export the document to either latex or html, the table is
completely missing from the resulting code. (The only exception is
text export where I can get the content of the table even though the
result is ugly)
On the other hand, the tabular layout works fine with (plain) article
class.
So, either LinuxDoc doesn't support tables, and we shouldn't be able
to enter one in LyX, or tables are clobbered (silently) during
processing.
Cheers

Hi,
with LyX 1.5.x the linuxdoc support was removed from LyX so I'm going to
close this bug now.
If you still need HTML export with tables (well six years later ...) I'd
recommend to try the DocBook SGML class which definitely works.
