Package: p3scan
Version: 2.1-2
In the README.Debian for p3scan there is the following information:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Using Clam Antivirus with p3scan
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
.
.
Note: is you are using clamav-daeamon, you have to add the clamav user
to the p3scan group in order to read the p3scan temporary files. The
command to use is:
# adduser clamav p3scan
This is not a problem if you are using clamscan instead of clamdscan.
.
.
This is missing an extra important line:
Also add the option 'AllowSupplementaryGroups' to the file clamd.conf file.
Without this the clamdscan will still not be able to scan the files in
the p3scan group. I was trying for a few hours ;)
Regards
Chris
