Package: airsnort
Version: 0.2.3-1
Severity: normal
The upgrade from "airsnort" 0.2.2-3 to 0.2.3-1 adds a dependency on Gnome,
where before it was only a GTK app.
Given the intent of the Gnome startup company to push users to Microsoft
.NET (with the inevitable raft of binary codecs linked to DRM hardware,
intellectual capital for Microsoft-controlled standards, and other
badness to follow), I've removed Gnome libraries from all my systems.
Any app that moves from GTK to Gnome either sticks me at an old version
or causes me to uninstall the app and find an alternate.
If there's a practical way for you to offer a non-Gnome packaging of
Airsnort, that would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Hello,
I'm closing all bugs from the Debian airsnort package because it is
removed from Debian since some time.
There is no upstream activity in more than 3 years and there is a better
and active maintained alternative aircrack-ng:
