Hello,

zoph has this (IMHO) weird idea in order to set a field to null, instead
of using an empty string, you use "null".

>From the programmers point of view this might make perfect sense, from
the users point of view though it is completely unexpected and very
confusing.

It also makes it impossible to delete the values of certain fields, e.g.
photographer or location, presumably as null isn't one of the selectable
items in the pull down list.

(then again, if there are a huge number of photograpers or locations a
pull down list may not be ideal anyway, but fixing that is a topic for
another day).

Hello,

I can't believe I wrote this bug report. Did I mean "null" string or null database value?. Either the problem has already been fixed ("null string"), or I was on drugs and not thinking rationally (null value).

So either this bug has been fixed or is not a bug, and as such I am going to close this bug report.

Brian May
