Package: tuxguitar

Severity: important

Hello,

Tuxguitar stopped working in Debian unstable maybe a week ago.

When starting the program, the following error appears:

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: Bad version
number in .class file
        at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass1(Native Method)
        at java.lang.ClassLoader.defineClass(ClassLoader.java:620)

        at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:251)
        at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319)

.... I assume it's some sort of java version mismatch, but I don't really know
much at all about Java, so it's not clear to me how to fix this error.

Thanks for any pointers,

  Wouter
