On my Lenny, I can't launch xasy without the package python-imaging-tk.
I get an error message saying to download manually imaging 1.1.6, and
then the program closes. With the package installed, I can launch it
normally. I guess there should be a dependency here.
Since I can't launch the program without this package, I made this bug
with important severity.
