Hello,
I'm running debian using testing repositories.
Every hal related deb package has the version = 0.5.8.1-6.1
The problem:
Scenario 1: OK
- plug usb stick - hal detects it (+1 usb stick)
- unplug usb stick - hal detects it (-1 sb stick)
Ouput for HAL -with --use-syslog --verbose=yes in attached file
called "1"
Scenario 2: FAIL
- plug usb stick - hal detects if (+1 usb stick)
- mount it somehow (!) thunar mounts it when accesing the device
- remove usb-stick without unmounting it -hal detects it - BUT
gets stuck ( -0 usb sticks). From this point on autodetection fails.
Output for HAL in attached file called "2"
PS: not sure if this email will arrive at a god destination so please let me
know by a short reply if it has been added to a bug database.
