Package: monodevelop
Version: 0.5.1-3
Severity: important
monodevelop crashes when trying to load a project which has had extra files
added to the source directory (in this case a glade.bak file). This causes
monodevelop to be essentially useless for existing projects, hence the seve=
rity.
This seems to be a problem with the include files dialog (possibly thread
related, based on my previous experiance with this type of error):
monodevelop --debug Projects/WCIDB/WCIDB.cmbx=20
Reading /home/mh/.config/MonoDevelop/CodeCompletionData/mscorlib_1.0.5000.0=
_b77a5c561934e089.pidb
Creating DefaultWorkbench
Socket already in use
*** Include files dialog ***
Xlib: unexpected async reply (sequence 0x5fc)!
Is there anything else I can do to help debug this?
Also, are there any repositories of newer mono/monodevelop packages, possib=
ly
svn snapshots? I'd really like to try to fix this, but I know a lot has hap=
pened
upstream since this 0.5 release.=20
Thanks for all your hard work packaging mono and friends
