Package: gfont
Version: 1.0.2-5
Severity: normal

When trying the following with gfont it is possible to lock up the system when
no proper ulimits are set:

gfont -b 000000 -f ffffff -F Helvetica -o test.gif -v "öäü"

Maybe this is because Helvetica implements no umlauts? It would be wise to warn
at least the systems admin, when installing gfont :)

Thanks,

Mirja

The gfont package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/328594 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
