I've done an upgrade of nvidia-glx from version 1.0.5336 to 1.0.6111. It's work
fully on kernel 2.6.6 but not on 2.4.X. On 2.4 kerneks, the X server crashes
(KDM) sometimes at the boot time. When it starts (eratic behaviours), I have my
console on Atl-Ctr F1, F2... and a graphic screen on F7. I open sucessfully a
KDE session. In KDE, I start a new session for having a new graphic screen on
F8 and nothing ; not really, I loose all consoles on F1, F2.... and the KDM
process sended on F8 have crashed. If I ask an other one for a new session my
Xserver crash. I do a reboot but by network, my computer works. I have verify
for the TLS library but it seems nothing to do.

there is no follow up from the bug reporter and woody is not supported
anymore anyway, thus closing.
