Package: gaim
Version: 1:0.75-2
Severity: normal

When used for IRC channel discussions, gaim very often loses connections
with the server (for instance, I use on on #debian-boot on irc.debian.org).

There is no sign of this connection being lost, however. The discussion
window is still there and the Clock Tick plugin properly shows the hour at 5
mins intervals.

If I try to send something to the channel, then gaim seems completely
"hanged". Any active window it has is just blank. The only solution then is
"killall gaim"...:-)
