Package: stratagus
Version: 2.1-9.1
Severity: normal

Hi!
I've just installed Debian Etch for amd64 (testing) and found that the in-game
sound effects do not play back, althought the game's background music and
click sounds on the title screen do.
This happened both with the bos data set, but also with the third-party
"Wargus" data set, for playing Warcraft 2 using the original artwork.

If I boot my old i386 installation from another partition on this same
machine, featuring the same stratagus version, all sound effects work
as expected.

I'm using libsdl1.2debian-alsa 1.2.11-7.

Any chance of this being an architectures-specific bug? Or is it just
that my old i386 installation has been way more fine tuned and there is
something somewhere in my new amd64 installation expecting some tunning?

TIA,

The stratagus package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/472278 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
