Package: samba
Version: 2.2.3a-6
Severity: important

Copying files with the Windows 200 explorer to a Samba share creates additional
files with funny filenames.
Example of filenames (the first one is the copied file):

2002_0823_194559AB.JPG:?Q30lsldxJoudresxAaaqpcawXc:$DATA

Inquiry on the samba maillist learned that this is a known problem, fixed in
2.2.5.

week, the stable release of Debian will be sarge; if you are still
experiencing any of these bugs with woody, please upgrade to sarge, as they
