Package: xmms
Version: 1.2.10-1.3
Severity: important
When inserting a USB device (specifically a USB ACM modem, Samsung A500
phone) the current playing mp3 stops. Have to restart the mp3, it is not
paused. The mp3 stops at the position it was at, as if its paused. This
also happens when switching desktops or windows, randomly. Can not
recreate that on a regular basis as I can the USB issue. Other mp3
players are not affected, other than the gtk2 fork beep-media-player.

The xmms package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/461309 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
