Package: xmms
Version: 1.2.3-helix1
Severity: normal

I start up an xmms session on :0.0 by the command 'xmms -n 0 &',
then queue files to it by 'xmms -n 0 -e foo.mp3 bar.mp3' on :0.0, the
files are added to the playlist of the prior xmms instance. However, if
I run the same command 'xmms -n 0 -e foo.mp3 bar.mp3' on :0.1, a new
xmms instance is loaded on :0.1 with the files in it. I believe xmms
should still use the process running on :0.0 because of the matching -n
paramaters.

The xmms package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/461309 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
