I would sometimes like to save the stream coming from an internet
radio site, but I don't want hours of it saved, just certain songs.
It would be realy cool if xmms would save several minutes of
back-buffer, and try to know when one songs changes to the next during
reception of streaming audio. Then it could provide a button to have
it record to a file from the beginning of a song until it's end.

It should be fast also; I might want to catch it soon after the song
starts, or in the middle of it. It should be able to get a default
song title etc. from the stream data, since it already can update its
display scroller.

The xmms package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/461309 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
