Package: xmms
Version: 1.2.2-1
Severity: normal

I am using fvwm2 in non-opaque mode (i.e. just outline is displayed while
moving). When xmms is playing and I grab another window (i.e. xterm) to
move/resize it, xmms keeps playing for a short time (until buffers are
flushed ?), but then stops and does not play until I finish moving/resizing
operation. When I move windows in opaque mode it does not happen.
It looks like xmms needs some interaction with X windows in order to play,
which does not happen while move is in progress. The same thing happens with
twm and friend of mine observed it with fvwm95.

The xmms package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/461309 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
