Package: xmms
Version: 1.2.10+cvs20050209-2
Severity: normal
on the initial fast scan when mp3s are added to the playlist, vbr tags
seem to be ignored, resulting in pretty absurd song lengths. once a file
is actually played, the real length is retrieved and saved persistently
in the playlist's meta data.
this behavior is observable for a few months now.

this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
