Hi, I would need some assistance in tracking this bug down, and I would
like to kindly request to get it because this bug affects the whole
desktop.
For a couple of days I have been observing that all GNOME applications
hang when I try to open a file. At the same time I saw that the
beagle-search application also refused to start. It seems that beagle
hanging is the common cause (you know that the gtk file selector also
uses beagle), because "beagle-status" also fails do display any
information. The only remedy is to kill all beagle processes and start
them again. For some unkown reason, beagle runs normal when I start it
manually.
The last time I saw this was when my laptop was running on battery
power.
What can I do to trace what beagle is doing when I log in and the hang
occurs?
