Package: gpgp
Version: 0.4-4
Severity: grave
As the program cannot scroll the list of public keys, it is unusable
for keyrings with more then very few keys. (You even cannot scroll
per keyboard, the selection leaves the window).
It shows messages like "This feature is under construction", it
has an "Validity"-Column, that is always empty. In some dialogs it
hat input-masks for "Trust" and "Validity", that do not do anything.
It looks very alpha and I think it should not be included into frozen or
the next stable.
I searched with google, but could not find any upstream-activity on this
package for the last two years. seahorse is very slow with large keyrings, but
it works also with those with more than 13 inhabitants.

Bernhard R. Link

The gpgp package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/460777 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.
Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
