Package: gtoaster
Version: 0.2001102812+1.0Beta3-2
Severity: important

Dear gtoaster maintainer,

I found two problems in the above gtoaster packages that are endemic to
the Debian package, the upstream source is fine. I confirmed this by
just compiling the original source package from the Debian server.

The two issues are:

o CDDB lookup is not working.
o If Preferences->Audio System->Audio driver is set to 'No Sound',
dragging and dropping an audio track onto the 'Drag'n'Play' button or
double clicking gives an error pop-up saying the sound devices could
not be accessed. Also, the button text hanges to 'Stop Player'
although nothing is playing of course. When trying to burn a CD, the
program cancels the burn process saying 'Preview Player active,
  recording process cancelled'.

Especially the second issue can get quite annoying if you have
pre-cached tracks from a number of CDs and then you can't burn them. ;-)

Best regards,
        Andree

The gtoaster package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/460773 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
