Hi,
Looking over /etc/init.d/autofs to find a nice solution for (re)starting=20
single automount processes that died,
I realized that /var/run/autofs/ is empty on all of our systems.
I suspect automount does not write a pidfile, unless you explictly tell=20
it to with -p?!
This might be related to a view other autofs bugs like doubled mounts on=20
reload.
