ulogd segfaults on start up when the PostgreSQL plugin is enabled.
Debugging symbols were not enabled, so I could not run GDB. Connections
to a remote PostgreSQL 7.4.2 server are authorized and proceed, but the
session is terminated unexpectedly due to the segfault. ulogd does not
segfault when the PostgreSQL plugin is not enabled.
My configuration for the PostgreSQL plugin is as follows:
#
# ulogd_PGSQL.so: optional logging into a PostgreSQL database
#
# database information
pgsqltable ******
pgsqlpass ******
pgsqluser ******
pgsqldb *****
pgsqlhost *****
#load the plugin (remove the '#' if you want to enable it)
