Package: xfdesktop4
Version: 4.4.2-1
Severity: normal
Hi,
when trying to create a launcher from the desktop (Right click, Desktop,
Create launcher), the dialog instantly crashes when one starts typing
the name for the launcher. Note that surprizingly, if one clicks
somewhere in the dialog before starting typing, that works fine.
On a related note, it looks like one has to right-click on an existing
icon to select “Desktop, Create launcher”, and that it's not possible to
do so when right-clicking on the background.
FWIW, the same happens with 4.4.2-2 on amd64.
Cheers,

Looks like I'm no longer able to reproduce it, nor to reproduce it on a
fresh installation (on amd64 as well).

It was focused. I'm using the focus prevention thingy + following ICCCM
stuff. Anyway, there weren't any other windows on that desktop when I
tried that (always using maximized apps).

Not that I know.
Maybe some transient bug? Since we cannot reproduce it, I'm closing this
bug. Reproducer, reopener. ;-)
