Package: usplash
Version: 0.5.8-1

I've recently implemented a API for the progress bar shown during
boot. It is intended to work with any splash screen implementation,
and usplash and splashy was taken into account. This was implemented
in initscripts version 2.86.ds1-39.

Each splash screen implementation is expected to provide a file
/lib/init/splash-functions with a few functions implemented. The
usplash implementation is currently available in the initscripts
package, in the /lib/init/splash-functions-usplash.

Please include this file in a future version of usplash, and let me
know that it can be removed from the initscripts package. I plan to
remove it two months from now, or sooner if a new version of usplash
with the hook in place is uploaded sooner.

Happy hacking,

Hm, as far as I can see, this was already solved in version 0.5.8-2.
Closing it.
