Package: lessdisks
Version: 0.5.3cvs.20040906-17

While testing lessdisks-cloner-server with piuparts, I got the following
error:

Purging configuration files for lessdisks ...
  /var/lib/dpkg/info/lessdisks.postrm: line
3: /usr/share/debconf/confmodule: No such file or directory
  dpkg: error processing lessdisks (--purge):
subprocess post-removal script returned error exit status 1

This seems to be because the postrm requires debconf (and adduser) to be
installed when the package is being purged, which is against policy (see
7.2, Binary dependencies, last sentence of the description of Depends).

The lessdisks package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/389498 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
