Package: listen
Version: 0.4.3-1
Hello,
I have a big collection of mp3, classified into directories, and
when I try to import some of them into listengnome library process hangs
up when found some filenames with "strange" (?) chars:
standard error output in console (when import this path) shows
next message:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/listen/db_manager.py", line 562, in select_request
try:self.cur.execute( request )
OperationalError: Could not decode to UTF-8 column 'uri' with text
'/mnt/mp3/FULL/Ari-A_kien_va_a_engañai.mp3'
I think that when program founds a filename with this encode type
stop process at this point and do not import anymore
I do not know if this is a problem of locales on my system or if
this is a bug in listen, but it will be good that import process will skip
this "bad encoded" files and continue importing the others. I have a
directory with 1000 files aprox and import stops about 18% of total.
Maybe this bug have relation with the bug:
