Package: crypt++el
Version: 2.91-1
Severity: wishlist

I had real problems setting up crypt++el working with gnupg
encryption.

I found the solution here

http://cert.uni-stuttgart.de/archive/debian/user/2002/11/msg01840.html

which suggests adding

(setq crypt-encryption-type 'gpg)

in the ~/.emacs file.

The best solution would be a debdconf template for choosing the
default encryption-type and adding this to
/etc/emacs/site-start.d/50crypt++.el

But if this is to much work it may be sufficient to add a little note
at /usr/share/doc/crypt++el/README.debian.

Thanks

Hendrik Naumann
