Package: linux-libertine
Version: 2.8.14-1
Severity: important

The broken letters work fine with other fonts, so it is unlikely that
something is wrong with my configuration.
Also, if I download the original tarball from sourceforge and replace
the ttf files that come with Debian with the files from the tarball,
everything is fine.

I noticed that the files included in the Debian release are significant
smaller than the files from sourceforge, e.g.,
1571788 LinLibertine_Re-2.8.14.ttf (Sourceforge)
 513968 LinLibertine_Re.ttf (Debian)

Not sure if this has something to do with it.

i've just checked it with openoffice.org from sid on i386, where the
problem does not appear.
