Package: gnome-terminal
Version: 2.22.1-1
Severity: normal

I noticed the disabling the scrollbar does not always work as expected.

How to repeat:

- Use the "Default" profile with a disabled scrollbar:

$ gconftool --get /apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/scrollbar_position
hidden

- Create a new gnome-terminal (no scrollbar).
- Create a second tab (no scrollbar).
- Detach either by dragging its title with the mouse:
  => The detached tab suddenly has a scrollbar.

Workaround (with ugly side effects regarding the position of other
running gnome-terminals): Temporarily enable the scrollbar.

$ gconftool --set --type string
/apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/scrollbar_position 'right'
$ gconftool --set --type string
/apps/gnome-terminal/profiles/Default/scrollbar_position 'hidden'

FYI: This system is basically lenny, I've just installed
gnome-terminal{,data} from sid to make sure the bug isn't gone there.

Appearently the bug was fixed in 2.22.2-1 as I cannot reproduce the
described behaviour on three installations. Thus closing.
