Package: alsa-base
Version: 1.0.16-1.1
Severity: important

not directly related to #395472, but newer kernel aka >= 2.6.25 allow
a more convient way of ordering your soundcards.

2.6.26 merged the new alsa pc speaker driver as this is the designed
Lenny kernel it is important for the user to be sure that this one
doesn't load *first*.

i'd suggest adding to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base

options snd-pcsp index=2

or you seem to prefer (haven't tested that one yet).

options snd-pcsp index=-2
