Package: hplip
Version: 2.7.10-5
Severity: important
hp-probe did not initially recognized my HP Business Incjet 1200. I've
got a tentative fix for the problem.
Here is the original diagnostics:
============ hp-probe output starts ==============================

hp-probe[5622]: debug: Not found.
warning: No devices found on the 'usb' bus. If this isn't the result
you are expecting,
warning: check to make sure your devices are properly connected and
powered on.
================== hp-probe output ends =================================
The fix: I manually edited
/usr/share/hplip/data/models/models.dat
and replaced [hp_business_inkjet_1200] with
[business_inkjet_1200]. Everything is working fine now:
