Package: galeon
Version: 2.0.5-1
Severity: important

Seeing how the bug is not reported (or maybe I overlooked), it seems
like a dependency might be missing.

Output shows:
(galeon:14977): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon 'stock_new-tab'
for stock: Icon 'stock_new-tab' not present in theme

(galeon:14977): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon
'stock_mail-send' for stock: Icon 'stock_mail-send' not present in theme

(galeon:14977): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon
'stock_view-html-source' for stock: Icon 'stock_view-html-source' not
present in theme

(galeon:14977): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon 'stock_new-tab'
for stock: Icon 'stock_new-tab' not present in theme

(galeon:14977): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon
'stock_mail-send' for stock: Icon 'stock_mail-send' not present in theme

(galeon:14977): Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon
'stock_view-html-source' for stock: Icon 'stock_view-html-source' not
present in theme

Galeon was installed in a chroot, so only its direct dependencies are
installed (and no recommends).

These are provided by at least gnome-icon-theme which is a Recommends
 of galeon.

 Icon themes don't have virtual provides for the icon set they provide;
icon themes might override only some icons from another theme, provide
a small set of icons, or provide a full blown implementation of the
normalized icons: all icon theme packages are different here :-(

Also, we never introduced any conventional provides for these in
 Debian.

So the two options I have are to either, like now, recommend g-i-t and
allow people to replace it with something else, or to depend on it and
not allow its removal. (at least until we have some provide mechanism)

But Recommends are now installed by default now and are a strong
dependency, so I'm tempted to either close this bug or wontfix it. I'm
closing it with this message, but you're welcome to reopen it if you
think a different solution would be preferable of if you prefer the bug
 to stay open and wontfix.

   Cheers,
