Package: mc
Version: 2:4.6.2~git20080311-2+b1
Severity: normal

With this version the smbfs support is missing:

| $ mc -V
| GNU Midnight Commander 4.6.2-pre1
| Virtual File System: tarfs, extfs, cpiofs, ftpfs, fish

There was no hint in the changelog I'm aware of, so I think this is a
bug and not a feature.

Regards,

Dirk

Hello,

There was a changelog entry see [1], smbfs is disabled because of security
issues..

I'll enable it again if someone can provide a patch for this issue.

So this is indeed a feature and not a bug.

Greetings
Winnie
