Package: abiword
Version: 2.2.7

Debian 3.1 sarge

Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (the same happens with de_DE)
Ispell Version: 3.1.20 10/10/95, patch 1

symlink `deutsch.hash' in /usr/share/enchant/ispell points to
/usr/lib/ispell/deutsch.hash , the latter to ngerman.hash .

Problem: All german words with Umlauts are wrongly regarded as
misspelled; the suggestions for correction (of the spelling errors)
replace the Umlaut with a non-Umlaut.

AbiWord now only uses aspell, so I'm guessing this bug no longer applies
to AbiWord. Closing.
