with trac 0.11, which is now the version in unstable. Given,
that this information is correct, I suggest to use the
alternative branch from http://trac-hacks.org/wiki/GitPlugin

our branch is based on the upstream branch for Trac 0.10. It
currently does not work with Trac 0.11."
