Subject: libfreetype6: truetype fonts (even well hinted ones) are blurry
Package: libfreetype6
Version: 2.1.2-8
Severity: important
This version of freetype makes all fonts blurry, even the well-hinted
truetypes (e.g. Microsoft fonts). This was not the case in the previous
version (I guess it was 2.1.2-7).
By looking at the changelog, I see that the bytecode interpreter has
been turned off. I don't really know what it does, but sure I hope it
will be debugged and turned on again.

The bytecode interpreter is turned on in Debian FreeType and has been for
quite a long time. If you are still having problems with the most recent
version (2.1.10-1) please open a new bug.
