I use wmaker with click-to-focus. Occasionally (maybe once every month
or two), something goes wrong with wmaker or my X server, and I can no
longer click inside any windows to focus them. Clicking on the title bar
still works.
Restarting wmaker does not fix the problem, restarting X does. So this
may bot be a wmaker bug.
My system is doing it now, and if you get back to me before I
ctrl-alt-backspace out of frustration, I'll be happy to do anything I
can to aid in debugging. If not, this is hardly the first time I've seen
the problem, so there's always next time.
