Package: mutt
Version: 1.5.18-2
Severity: important
When I report a bug with reportbug, incorrect and private information
is included in the bug report under "Package-specific info", because
as I *also* have my own version of Mutt, the wrong mutt is run (note:
I saw it and changed it in my previous bug report).
In /usr/share/bug/mutt/script,
LC_ALL=C mutt -v >&3
should be changed to:
LC_ALL=C /usr/bin/mutt -v >&3
since Debian's mutt is installed there.

Hi Vincent,
the fact that many people have their own mutt version installed is the
very reason we do *not* use /usr/bin/mutt there. If the bug reported
is caused by extra patches in a local version, we'd like to know that.
Every bug report leaks information about a system. I don't think mutt
-v is worse than the other bits mutt (and other packages) already
include. If a submitter doesn't like it, or the information is not
relevant, they can delete it. If here's anything to fix, reportbug
should be updated to ask if it may include these bits.
Christoph
