attached to a mail message. Thus, it would make sense to export the
minimal key, not the entire key.

Hmm. If I'm emailing a key, I probably want to email the whole key,
because if the other end had access to a keyserver, I could just mail
the fingerprint and tell them to gpg --recv $FPR.
Your suggestion is of course valid, but I don't think there's a strong
case for changing the default here. Please consider adding this to
your ~/.muttrc. Closing the bug, but anyway, thanks for the
suggestion.
