Whatever I try, viking is not able to download images from google.
I see it downloading but when it's done, nothing happens.

A tcpdump shows that each request gets a 404:

It's indeed fixed. Great.

Yet, it seems the maps are displayed on top of the tracks, instead of
below, making those tracks difficult to see.
I have to use transparency but not enough makes tracks barely visible,
and too much makes maps barely visible. I tried to change the layers order,
nada.

and still no Preference dialog.
