Hi,

thanks for adding nostrip support to pixmap!
Its unfortunately still not working, so I have modified debian/rules as 
follows in Ubuntu:

http://patches.ubuntu.com/p/pixmap/pixmap_2.6pl4-17ubuntu2.patch

You may want to consider something similar for Debian too.

Please also note that I've removed the work-around solution to fix the sigsegv 
from getenv on amd64 arches (which I could not find documented in changelog 
and in open bugs), in favour of just adding the missing <stdlib.h> header 
file.

I thought I'd mention it just in case you want to do it too.
