Package: twinkle
Version: 1:1.1-2+b2
Severity: normal

Twinkle locks up when placing a call if using a bluetooth headset (ALSA:
other device) as both speaker and microphone. It works fine for one
role or the other, though.

Looking at the strace output, this looks like a deadlock:

  gettimeofday({1200826491, 45119}, NULL) = 0
  gettimeofday({1200826491, 46520}, NULL) = 0
  ioctl(3, FIONREAD, [0]) = 0
  gettimeofday({1200826491, 46647}, NULL) = 0
  select(13, [3 4 6 8 12], [], [], {3, 529525}) = 1 (in [6], left {3, 360000})
  futex(0x84211ec, FUTEX_WAIT, 2, NULL) = 0
  futex(0x84211ec, FUTEX_WAIT, 2, NULL) = -1 EINTR (Interrupted system call)

(It's kinda sad, as twinkle is pretty much the only SIP phone that has
any support whatsoever for BT headsets. Well, at least we're halfway
there!)

I should point out that I have not encountered this bug since, either
with the old bluetooth-alsa or the new bluez-audio. Whatever it
was, it
was probably either a fluke or fixed long ago.

I'm reluctant to do anything with this bug report, since I'm no
longer
the only participant. But as far as I'm concerned, you have my
blessing
if you either want to close this bug, or tag it unreproducible.
