Hi,
I installed the apt-howto package on my machine. This also pulled in
*all* the language translation dependencies: apt-howto-{en,es ... ru}.
However, I do not need or want them all. If I try removing any of the
unwanted ones, apt-get wants to remove the apt-howto package as well.
Shouldn't apt-how depend on at least one (optionally more) but not
necessarily all of the apt-howto-XX packages?
I am running Debian testing. I have noted identical behavior on woody.

The apt-howto package has been removed from Debian testing, unstable and
experimental, so I am now closing the bugs that were still opened
against it.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/493787 . That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed, and suggestions of possible replacements.
