Thanks for taking the time to submit this bug report, however it isn't
actually a bug as you just misinterpreted the manpage instructions.
sizeprobe=[if|of]
you can say either "if" or "of" you don't specify the device name so for your
example it would be:
dcfldd if=/dev/hdb of=/dev/hda sizeprobe=if
